THOUGH WE SPOKE EARLIER OF WISDOM coming from Light, it is important to expand upon wisdom as an attribute. I remind you that wisdom is Divine Light, and within it lies Divine Truth and Divine Intelligence.
During your span of evolution, Beloveds, true spiritual wisdom has eluded much of humankind because humans source information from the thinking mind when dealing with the task at handtheir thinking mind or others'. Wisdom does not stem from the thinking mind. Mind alone does not allow one to perceive anything without the ego's interpretation. Only those operating in a lower realm of consciousness seek an outcome by way of the mind or ego.
It is sad that most humans rest their decisions on the process of the mind and ego, which convince them they have made a wise choice. That is rarely the case. The mind and ego may be mentally intelligent or worldly informed, but only the graduate from the school of inner significance is capable of wisdom. Wisdom rises above the mind and ego. Wisdom is a response born of Light that arrives when the mind has ended its process of thinking about the task at hand.
In your era of technology, information and knowledge are easy to acquire. You push a button on your computer, search for any topic you choose, and instantly you have information and knowledge within your reach. But what of it, Beloveds? What have you discovered instinctively, on your own, about who you are, what your true nature is, and what your connection is to everything around you? What has your Life told you about your purpose in it? How often have you turned up the spiritual Light to increase the flow of wisdom to you?
The answer to those questions will bring you wisdom, though not as quickly as you gather your information and knowledge. The masters of your history had no opportunity or desire to hurry to their wisdom. Through self-inquiry, dedication to truth, initiations that took them into the higher realms of Light and Love, and inner pathways opened through devotion, they worked quietly and unhurriedly toward it. They sacrificed the lure of the outer world to gain it. They turned away from the thinking and belief patterns of the masses and drew their own conclusions from the well-spring of the Light in their hearts. Eventually, they came upon the answers to Life's ultimate questions through their own experiences. Their lives were like that of an owl. They saw what most could not, and became excellent hunters in the often dark of Life. Where others were deceived, they saw the truth.
