The Attribute of Humility
(Page 2)

|
The distortion of the word "humility" continues in the belief that it means lessening oneself in any situation. Humility does not make you weak; it makes you strong and more capable. There are many empowering qualities that stem from humility:
- In humility, you know that you are not dependent upon your own perception of your resources.
- Humility gives you the power to distance yourself from the ego, and wisely perceive situations.
- Humility allows you to live in gratitude for everything that you are and everything that has been bestowed upon you.
- Humility is the sign of greatness in operation.
- Humility allows for breakthroughs from higher realms of consciousness.
- Humility allows you to become more flexible and adaptive.
- Humility opens your heart and creates more compassion for those who appear to be less fortunate than you.
- Humility allows you to function more effortlessly in all environments, knowing it is Us functioning together in every environment.
- Humility allows you to receive from others-one God giving to another God-rather than concealing what you believe you lack by stopping an expression of God in action.
- Humility creates a more comfortable environment for the entry of another.
- With humility, you can quell the fires of another's anger. Three words spoken in humility-I Am grateful-have the significance of a hundred.
- Humility allows you the power of discernment rather than the arrogance of overcoming or taking over what was never intended for you to overcome or take over.
- Humility brings true self-esteem.
- Humility brings peace and union.
